Italian lambskin nappa - supple with a gentle sheen
Lambskin nappa is a classic gloving leather with a smooth, soft handle and a subtle sheen. Ours comes from Naples, Italy. After dyeing, the skins are hung to dry where the sea air moves through the open walls of the tannery's roof space. Local tradition associates this process with the leather's particular softness and flexibility.
Caring for lambskin nappa The leather is drum-dyed to develop its colour and softness, without an opaque surface coating. It can therefore be sensitive to rain and moisture, particularly in brighter and lighter colours. If dark marks appear after contact with moisture, gently work the area with a soft damp cloth and talcum powder. Leave the glove to dry at room temperature, laid flat where possible.
Deerskin - strength with flexibility
Deerskin is soft and supple, with a distinctive fine grain. It becomes more flexible with wear while retaining the robust character for which it is valued as a gloving leather.
Caring for deerskin Do not apply cleaning products or conditioners. Protect the gloves from rain, oil and other dirt. If they become damp, leave them to dry at room temperature, laid flat where possible.
peccary - soft, resilient grain
Peccary is supple and flexible, with a recognisable grain. As the animal lives wild in South America, natural marks may appear on the surface. Cutting around these while using the skin well requires an experienced hand.
Caring for peccary Do not apply cleaning products or conditioners. Protect the gloves from rain, oil and other dirt. If they become damp, leave them to dry at room temperature, laid flat where possible.
TouchTec lambskin - touchscreen leather
TouchTec-treated leather allows touchscreens to be operated while the gloves are worn.

Hungarian shearling - leather and fleece together
In shearling, the natural fleece remains attached to the hide. The fleece forms the inside of the glove, while the reverse presents a suede surface. Its dense wool and substantial construction suit winter wear.
Caring for shearling No conditioner is required. If the gloves become damp, leave them to dry at room temperature, laid flat where possible, then brush them gently.
Linings
Wool
A knitted wool lining has a soft, natural handle and suits winter wear.
Cashmere
Cashmere lining is light and exceptionally soft, with a refined handle for colder days.
Rabbit fur
Rabbit fur lining has a plush, substantial feel and is used in gloves intended for sustained cold.
Lamb fur
Lamb fur lining is dense and full, giving winter gloves a more substantial interior.
Unlined
Unlined gloves are made without a separate interior layer. Their lighter construction suits spring and autumn, occasion wear and styles where the leather itself is central.
Shearling
Shearling gloves have no separate lining: the fleece remains attached to the leather and forms the inside of the glove.
Pure silk
Pure silk lining has a smooth, natural handle. Its light construction is suited to spring and autumn styles.
